Kleenex Facial Cloths & Make-up Wipes

I've seen these around for quite awhile and was always curious as to what they were like, and how well they worked.
The Kleenex facial cloths are massive, they are seriously huge. I'm able to take off all my make up with one of these - cleanse, remove eye make-up and tone - this is really cool, or at least for me it is, especially when I use 3 or 4 cotton wool pads normally.
The wipes are really wet, which may seem odd to mention but I've experienced wipes in the past that were quite dry and didn't take my eye make-up off very well. A small rub of my eyes removes all the make-up on my eyes and one wipe is enough for both eyes.
Overall I am really impressed with the Kleenex range and I am very impressed with these. I am really happy I picked these up, the facial cloths are £1.99 from most shops, but I think you can pick them up from Home Bargains for less that £1. You can also pick up the eye make-up removal wipes for £2.99. Later I hope to pick up the facial wipes since the rest of the range has impressed me.

HD Brows Palette

I received this quite awhile ago in a glossy box, it has just sat in the back of a drawer since I don't usually fill in my brows. Recently I've tried to make an effort to fill in my brows, it really makes your whole face look so much better.
The palette I have is in the shade "Vamp". In the past I've used the darkest colour but I'm now aware that it is waaaay to dark for me, so now I use the second darkest ( bottom left). You don't need much on the brush  since the colour is really pigmented, I made the mistake of piling it on the first time I used it.
This is a nice little palette, not only for your brows. There are a couple of nice colours to use on your lids. I believe you can buy this from around £19. It wouldn't be my first choice, as it is quite pricey, but it would e one of my choices.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick

I, like everyone else, have fawned over the beauty that is YSL lipsticks. I had been dying to get my hands on this for awhile, however the price put me off, £23 for a lipstick is a bit hefty. So I went in search of a cheaper one.
Of course, I went straight to eBay. The colour I wanted never seemed to be there ( 17 Red Muse), I did keep looking for it. Every so often having a little search in hope of seeing it. I eventually found it and won the auction. I paid a total of £12 including postage. For a lipstick some may say £12 is still quite a lot, but when you think about it, lipsticks are all around the price of £8-10, so its not that much more than a normal lipstick.
When it arrived I was so happy. The colour is beautiful. Red is my favourite colour of lipstick, the colour is a lovely red and is really long lasting.
It doesn't have a super shiny finish, which for me is brilliant since I'm not one for overly shiny lips. The lipstick has a really nice creamy, buttery finish.

I love this, if your not wanting a full colour then you can dab it on your lips and blend it out to a lovely pale red.

I would recommend that if you haven't tried these then you really have to go and slap one on. They are totally worth the price you pay, and even if you aren't up for the price tag that comes with it then do like I did and head over to eBay.

Instant touch rapid dry for nails

I am extremely impatient when it comes to doing my nails, all I ever want is for them to dry straight away.
So upon a wander round boots, I saw the "Elegant Touch Rapid dry spray", I picked it up since I figured what harm can it do to try it out.
When I got home I tried it out straight away. I really wasn't impressed with this, and quite frankly would rather have let them dry on there own. This claims to dry nail polish instantly, and dried glossy after 60 seconds.
All this did was make my nails feel greasy, I've only tried this once and I'm not really wanting to try it again.
This is only a small post, but if you have any rapid dry nail things please let me know :)

Maybelline | The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara

Maybelline mascaras are always talked of rather fondly, or at least I think they are. In the past I have found them OK, nothing special. But a few months ago they brought out "The Rocket" and I adore this! I don't usually switch from mascaras, but when I find one I like more I completely forget about the other ones I own. This was certainly the case with this mascara. I used to use YVES Rocher Sexy Pulp mascara, and I think I bought two or three tubes of it, safe to say I loved it, but after using the Rocket I put sexy pulp to the back of my drawer.
The Rocket gives amazing volume to your lashes, doesn't clump and makes your lashes look super long. What more could you ask for in a mascara? Oh, I know what else you could want from a fantabulous mascara. It to be affordable! And of course it is, it is £7.99 full price, but you can often get it at a lower price at boots.
When I first saw the wand I was a little sceptical, the bristles looked small and not like they would catch your lashes. How wrong I was, they grab your lashes and don't let go till they look heavenly. The Rocket fell from heaven and landed in stores to save our lashes and out bank accounts.
The Rocket is the most wonderful mascara, its everything I could ask for - and more.

Have you tried this yet? Or have you got a mascara that you simply couldn't live without?

Rimmel | Stay Matte Pressed Powder

For a fair few years I have used Rimmel Clear Complexion pressed powder, recently I have been having a really hard time with my oily skin and this powder wasn't helping me. I was in the market for a new one, since the one I was using was all broken and fiddly to use.
I had decided while shopping to buy the Stay Matte powder as it would be perfect for my oilier than a chip
pan skin. I picked it up in the shade 001 Transparent, since I'm lazy and couldn't be bothered trying to find my shade( it was also the same shade as the Clear Complexion one). Its described a "a long lasting pressed powder", I do think it keeps my skin looking shine free for a fair few hours. I'd say about 6-8 hours after putting this on my skin begins to get shiney and oily and just plain bad. It does say "Up to 5 hours natural shine control" so I'm not annoyed by how long I get, in fact I'm quite impressed.
Because of my skin my make-up never stays very long, I think this powder helps my make-up stay on my skin so much longer. I used a big fluffy brush to apply this after my foundation and concealer. I think finishing my face off with this has probably helped set it.
For £3.99 this is a total bargain, you couldn't ask for a better product for this price. This is a total god send product, anyone with oily skin should head out and buy this wee beauty.

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Polish

I've been quite slow onto the band waggon for these nail polishes. But now that I'm on it I never want to get back off.
I love the colours that are available and the formula is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better nail polish.
They last forever and the colours are so lovely.
I only have two of the colours at the moment, but I'm definitely going to strive to get all of them. I have The colours Pomegranate, which is a lovely deep pink colour, and Prickly Pear, which is a beautiful pale purple. The colour comes out really bright and you only really need one coat, I usually put on two coats just so the colour looks even better.
The polish lasts ages on the nails and doesn't chip easily. This nail polish has lots and lots of plus sides to it and to add to it, they are highly affordable. At £3.99 they are a total bargain!

I'm going to make it my mission for the summer to buy all of the shades, hopefully they will bring out even more colours!

Max Factor | Glide & Define Liquid Eyeliner

I've been on the hunt for a good eyeliner, one of the pen style ones. I'd had a few that were ok at first but soon dried out and became pretty crappy. I had never bought anything from Max Factor before, but thought that they were a really good brand so they would have a really good one. My hopes were high. There I sat giddy with anticipation. And when I had applied it I was grinning for ear to ear. I had applied winged eyeliner and it looked fab. I put it down to being the eyeliner - not that I had changed how I did it.
For awhile I thought I had found the perfect liner. Alas, I soon found that I was still on the hunt. Just like the rest it had begun to dry out and the colour had started to look more grey than black. Occasionally it works like a dream, just like the first time I applied it. Other times it looks like I've had it for many many years.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed, my hopes were so high for this. In boots you can pick this up for £6.99. Maybe it was just my one that is a bit on the dry side, I'm quite sad that this isn't what I hoped it would be, especially since the first time I used it was so amazing.
